This site may receive a referral fee if you open an account with a platform listed here. This does not affect our fee data, rankings, or editorial independence. We compare platforms by published fee data only.
This disclosure will appear on every page of this site where an affiliate link is present once links are activated.
How affiliate relationships work
An affiliate relationship means that if you click a link to a platform on this site and subsequently open an account, this site may receive a referral fee from the platform. This is a common arrangement between comparison websites and financial services providers.
The referral fee — where one is earned — is paid by the platform to this site. It does not represent an additional charge to you. You pay no more (and no less) than if you went directly to the platform's website.
What affiliate relationships do not affect
- Fee data. The fee figures we publish are sourced from each platform's own published charges page. An affiliate relationship with a platform does not result in its fees being shown differently from any other platform.
- Rankings and table order. Our fee comparison tables are ordered by annual fee from lowest to highest at each portfolio size. Commercial relationships do not affect table position. No platform can pay to improve its position.
- Inclusion decisions. Platforms are included or excluded based on whether they are FCA-authorised, offer ISAs, and have publicly verifiable fees. Affiliate programme membership does not determine inclusion.
- Editorial content. Articles, audits, and analysis are written based on data and our own editorial judgement. Platform fee changes, errors, and comparisons unfavourable to a platform are reported regardless of affiliate status.
When affiliate links go live
Before any affiliate link is published on this site:
- This disclosure page will be updated to reflect the specific platforms with active affiliate relationships.
- The standard disclosure statement will be present on the homepage and on every page that carries an affiliate link.
- Each link will be clearly identifiable as an affiliate link.
- The relevant platform's entry in the comparison table will be flagged to indicate a commercial relationship exists.
We will not activate affiliate links on any page until the disclosure requirements above are in place on that page.
